How To – Accelo: Social Media Management

This guide will provide you with step by step instructions on Social Media Management in Accelo.

The steps will be in the format of role/which department the step is for followed by the details. 

  1. Social Exec – Begins task in Accelo, review number of posts & platforms. 
  2. Social Exec – Creates required posts in Planable, marking them as ‘Team Only’ as they are made. 
  3. Social Exec – Send note to Proofing. 
  4. Proofing – Proofs posts, marking them as approved. Any required changes, step 5. Responds to Social Exec once they approved the posts. Continues to step 7. 
  5. Proofing – Send changes back to Social Exec. 
  6. Social Exec – makes required changes, proceeds to step 3. 
  7. Social Exec – notifies AM to review posts. 
  8. AM – review posts, any required changes are sent to Social Exec and return to step 6. Once AM approves all posts, mark the posts as ‘Visible to Client’ & notify the Social Exec.
  9. AM – Emails or calls customer if required. 
  10. Customer – Marks posts ‘not approved’ and adds notes as necessary. Post changes return to step 6. 
  11. Social Exec – Planable auto publishes approved posts.
