How To – Accelo: Silver Proofing & Quality Control

This guide will provide you with step by step instructions on the Silver Proofing & Quality Control in Accelo.   

The steps will be in the format of role/which department the step is for followed by the details.  

  1. PM – Assigns task to Primary Writer. 
  2. Primary Writer – Reads task description & writes the article. 
  3. Primary Writer – Proofs article & makes changes. 
  4. Primary Writer – Approves article as complete and send a note with work attached in the Quality Control task to Quality Control.
  5. Quality Control – receives note and Quality Controls the work. If no changes are required, sends confirmation to Primary Writer and go to step 8.  
  6. Quality Control – Sends work with changes to the Primary Writer via a note in the Quality Control task. 
  7. Primary Writer  Makes changes against their task and moves to step 3. 
  8. Primary Writer – send article to the Account Manager via a note. 
  9. Account Manager – checks work, if they have feedback they reply to the Primary Writerand CC the Quality Controller return to step 3. If Account Manager signs off the work, decide if the work needs to be sent to the Customer for final approval. 
  10. Account Manager – No customer approval required, move to step 13. If customer approval is required, email the Customer. 
  11. Customer – Supply feedback to the Account Manager. If no changes are required move to step 13.  
  12. Account Manager – If feedback is received & changes are required, send note with changes through to the Primary Writer & CC in Quality Control, then return to step 3. 
  13. Account Manager – Reply to note with work attached, authorising Primary Writer to publish. 
  14. Primary Writer – Publishes work & completes their task.
