CONTENT – How To – Proofreading

Purpose of this SQ How To: This guide is meant to explain the proofreading process when it comes to Content for Silver and Gold clients.

Applicable to: Content Team

Customers: All

Timescale: 30 minutes per blog (1000 words)

Introduction

This document aims to help explain the proofreading process on all Content Tasks in a given interval for any client

Proofreading Task

A Proofreading task will be assigned to the Quality Control Executive. Usually, the task will be assigned 30 minutes per blog in an interval – if there are 4 blogs planned, you should see 4 separate 30 minute tasks. It may take longer to proofread a blog or article depending on the piece of content (and its length, number of edits needed, etc).

What You Need to Do

  • Once a piece of content is completed the content writer should send this through the QC task to Richard Chamberlain
  • Once proofread, Richard will send the article back to the writer with suggested changes. The writer will make the changes and for silver clients, will send to the Account Manager for approval, for Platinum, send back to QC and Richard Chamberlain will send to the Account Manager.
